You have probably noticed that we love to celebrate with mexican food and drink! Tequila and tacos get us the MOST excited, and entertaining this way feels casual, inviting and always calls for fun! We have almost a dozen margarita recipes on our blog, but we couldn't help but create a new one for our newsletter subscribers. Our new margarita is juicy, sweet AND salty, but most importantly it is easily batched out for a crowd! We also included a second NEW recipe: guacamole. Guacamole styles can differ - are you team tomato or no tomato? Smooth or chunky? We are team no tomato, and prefer it super chunky. We also like it easy! This comes together in minutes. So no matter what your Cinco de Mayo plans are we hope, at the very least, they include a margarita and some chips and guac! And maybe a tequila shot too. Olé!

Passion Fruit Margarita (Newsletter Exclusive!)
Serves 2
4 oz tequila blanco (we like Espolon)
3 oz passion fruit juice
2 oz Cointreau
1 oz lime juice
Maldon flaky salt
Combine tequila, passion fruit juice, Cointreau and lime juice in a shaker filled with ice. Shake shake shake! Pour into a glass filled with ice. Sprinkle a large pinch of Maldon flaky salt on top. Enjoy :)
HH Guac (Newsletter Exclusive!)
2 ripe avocados, cubed
1/4 cup minced cilantro
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons minced scallions
1-2 teaspoons kosher salt (start with 1, but you will need more than you think)
Gently mix all ingredients together, mashing the avocado slightly as you go-we like to keep it chunky. If making in advance put plastic wrap over the guacamole, having the plastic wrap make direct contact with the surface of the guacamole.
HOSTING TIPS:
Pre-batch your margaritas. Duh.
